Beating heart

Creative ventures with a charitable heart.

When Hugh Tracey made 35,000 recordings across Africa between the 1920s & 70s, his intention was to reveal the beauty and complexity of the music to a world that saw little value in it.
90 years later, Tracey’s bid to preserve the music of Africa for future generations lives on, as Beating Heart connect Tracey’s ILAM archive with contemporary producers, making fresh sounds for a modern audience.

Building on Tracey’s vision, the income generated will be used to assist people in the areas where the music was originally recorded.

Love Support Unite

We change lives. We are Love Specs. We Are Love.

We are the very definition of grass roots.

We use your expertise and solutions working directly with communities and local resources to create projects that are sustained and maintained by local people. We work towards a world where every community can be self-sufficient.

We match volunteer’s skills with long-lasting development projects, working within communities to create real world change, providing much-needed healthcare, education and skills training to those who need it most.

Our models such as the “self sustaining school”, the “teach the teacher programme” and the “tailor school” are documented and replicable to make sure our work can be spread far and wide, while also working on national policy such as education reform.

We create small-scale projects to trigger large-scale change in Malawi and in the near future, across Africa. We create stability and opportunity where there was none.

We offer hope, assurance and love.
